About

Connecting with nature

My work explores the geometry of landscapes. I distill the natural world into relatable forms conveying energy and inspiring a deeper connection with nature.

In a world where the pace of life constantly accelerates, my artwork extends the offer to slow down and contemplate a kaleidoscopic fractural arrangement, a reconstructed landscape with a diversity of interconnecting forms and bold, somewhat unconventional colour choices.

about

Charlotte Harron

I’ve travelled quite a bit, and Toronto, Canada was where I began to rediscover and explore my art practice.   After a mentorship for a couple of years, we left Canada for the States where I refocused my painting on nature and its abstraction.  I’m influenced by my global travels and diverse living experiences. I've coined the term "Fractural Landscapes"'; these are deconstructed landscapes reconstructed, with meticulous precision, into hard edge blocks of colour, arranging the canvas space into scenes of potent visual impact. Various forms, lines and triangles vigorously intersect, accentuated and motioned by bold colour choices.

My paintings distill the complexities of the natural world into simplified yet relatable forms, imbuing each subject with energy and impact.  Through my art I hope to encourage individuals to connect with the world around them.

My approach to design and it’s application in my art is uncompromising in its dedication to the concept and execution.

I do hope it captures your interest.

Award winning, my art has exhibited in Canada, the UK, Switzerland, and the USA.
