I’m always amazed by the beautiful shapes and the complexity of icebergs, they can appear so stark, immense but also delicate at the same time. When painting this image, I was hoping to capture its strength and complexity, whilst trying to also capture the delicate colours on the horizon and the immensity of the sky. When I paint my landscapes or considering a concept for execution I am constantly aware that we need to appreciate the beauty of nature more and protect it.
