The glacier’s jagged contours intersect underneath a stylized aurora borealis. The glacier speaks of interconnectedness and the delicate balance between ice and gravity. I drew inspiration from the aurora borealis for the restricted colour palette used in this painting. I aimed to evoke a dramatic presence of a colossal glacier beneath a night sky. The original painting resides in Canada.
